Plano Apartments for Rent in Plano Texas-FREE Move-Apartments in Plano TX

I’ve been apartment hunting in Plano TX for my eldest son who is in the process of moving to Plano from Chicago within the next month or so. Since I live in Plano myself, I’m at an advantage in helping my son find an apartment in or near Plano that is nice, affordable and in a good location, and where he can live as close to me as possible. Plano Texas is, in my opinion, one of the nicest far north Dallas suburbs to live in, with Frisco Texas coming in at a close second.

In 2005, CNN Money magazine declared Plano Texas as the best place to live in the Western United States. In 2006, CNN Money selected Plano as the 11th best place to live in the entire U.S., with numerous industries and good-quality living, as well as excellent schools that consistently score in the top few of the nation.

As soon as my son told me he was planning to move back to Texas and wanted help in finding an apartment, I was beside myself with excitement and immediately started checking out apartments in Plano and surrounding areas (Richardson, Garland, Allen, McKinney etc) for a one-bedroom apartment that meets his rent criteria and location preferences.

When I agreed to help my son find an apartment that meets his specific criteria, he said the only thing that mattered to him was that I find him a “cheap” one-bedroom apartment that is nice and in a good location. No problem. Plano TX is a large city, with lots of variety when it comes to finding a cheap apartment or a more “expensive” luxury apartment in Plano, or an apartment that falls somewhere between cheap/inexpensive and expensive/luxurious.

Nail Biting: Causes, Consequences, Cure-How to Stop Biting Your Nails

Nail biting (onychophagia) is a nervous habit I know all too well. I’ve been biting my nails since I was a child, and as much as I’d like to say that I’ve learned to stop biting my nails now that I’m an adult, I’m embarrassed to admit that my wish to quit biting my nails is still a problem for me.

I’ve been researching the causes and consequences of nail biting, as well as searching for a cure for nail biting. Everything I’ve read so far says that nail biting occurs in times of stress, anxiety, excitement, boredom or inactivity and can be a learned behavior from family members. If you bite your nails too, and you’re habit is anything like mine, you also bite your nails without realizing you’re doing it.

It seems that no matter what it is that I’m doing, such as reading, watching television, talking on the phone, researching and writing articles for my websites, I bite my nails without thinking about it or realizing I’m doing it, and then I notice my fingernails are nearly bitten down to the quick.

Nail Biting Cure

My parents tried everything they could think to try and get me to stop biting my nails, including painting fingernail polish on my nails, which I’d just bite off anyway. Soap, shampoo, jalapeno sauces, iodine, spankings and grounding me didn’t work either. In my opinion, the quickest way to turn your child into an extreme nail biter is to start smacking or spanking them for biting their nails, which only makes a bad habit worse. Just don’t do it.

Free Candles: Make Candles, Candle Making Instructions, How to Make Candles

Candle making has grown in popularity, and if you haven’t taken the time to make candles yourself yet, making your own candles as either a hobby or a business opportunity to make some money with candles may be something to consider. There are so many types of candles to buy or make, such as soy candles, gel candles, pillar candles, beeswax candles, floating candles, tealight candles, aromatherapy candles and floating candles, just to name a few.

I am what you might consider a candle junkie. I buy candles on a regular basis and have fragrant candles burning nearly everyday at our house. Buying candles at a retail store or grocery store always leaves me disappointed. Have you ever smelled a candle at a store and liked the fragrance, but when you go to burn the candle at home, you’re left disappointed because the fragrance doesn’t permeate throughout your house or apartment? I don’t have that problem anymore.

Buy Candles or Make Candles

A reader recently asked me, “Where can I buy candles?”, after reading my recommendation to use scented candles to help spice up your marriage, and for the relaxing enjoyment fragrant candles bring to the home environment. If you’re looking for candles to buy and want to know where to buy candles, I highly recommend Mia Bella Candles for all of my fellow candle junkies, as these candles are the only brand of candles I am willing to buy.

Not only are Mia Bella Candles the best clean burning scented candles I’ve ever bought and burned in my home, with a large variety of candle types and fragrances to choose from, but candle addicts can actually make money with candles with a candle business, and a home candle business just might be what you’ve been looking for to make extra money with candles. If nothing else, you now at least know where to buy candles online and where I buy all of my candles, and you can even win FREE candles!

Second Child Baby Shower Etiquette – Is a Second Baby Shower Ok?

Is having a second baby shower for a second or third baby ok, according to proper baby shower etiquette? Is it appropriate and ok to have a couples baby shower, where boyfriends or husbands are invited to a coed baby shower? What is a “baby sprinkle” baby shower? Who should throw a baby shower, when should a baby shower be given and who should be invited to the shower?

The question and answer to who gets a baby shower is dependent on who you talk to. Some prefer to stick to the old-fashioned, traditional custom of baby shower etiquette of baby showers only being “allowed” for first-time mothers, and just the idea of throwing or attending a baby shower for a second or third baby is believed to be offensive, greedy and unacceptable.

Traditional rules of who should be thrown a baby shower have changed to a more modern view of also throwing a baby shower for a second child, and in some situations, a third or fourth child. Baby showers are not about greed but are a celebration of the birth of a new baby, and all babies should be welcomed into the world with a celebration party.

Fortunately, society has lightened up quite a bit on the “traditional” customs from past generations of planning a wedding, and it’s about time that so-called traditional rules about baby showers no longer require fitting into a specific category, like baby showers only being proper or appropriate for a first time mother.
