I am not one to get up before the crack of dawn, one day after Thanksgiving, to go stand in long lines with Black Friday shoppers looking for the best deals in all our favorite stores. And why would I, not when I can do all or most of my Christmas gift shopping online and either have it delivered to our home to wrap, or have gifts ordered and pre-wrapped and shipped to its destination in time for Christmas morning?

I love Maxine. Everything and anything Maxine. Books, cups, cards and ecards, it doesn’t matter as long as it’s Crabby Lady Maxine with an attitude, who really knows how to tell it like it is. Hallmark Maxine to be specific, the old crusty, sarcastic Maxine and all her funny cartoons, jokes, quotes and sayings that make Maxine fans laugh out loud.
With Thanksgiving coming in a matter of days, and Christmas not far behind, I’ve been getting my fill of Thanksgiving Maxine cartoons while planning and preparing for the holidays. Broken Bow cabins offer luxury log cabin lodging near Beavers Bend Resort Park and Broken Bow Lake in Broken Bow Oklahoma. Having recently rented one of the log cabins in Broken Bow OK as part of a gift experience, we can understand why Beavers Bend and Broken Bow cabins are so popular for weekend getaways, family reunions, weddings, romantic couple vacations or weekend retreats, etc.
As much as we have enjoyed tent camping near Broken Bow Lake in the past, renting a log cabin for a weekend getaway beats sleeping in a tent by far, and renting a cabin for vacations or weekend trips away from the Dallas area is at the top of our list of fun things to do throughout the year. We know that there are many options for cabin rentals in the Texas Hill Country and other areas, but having done extensive searches for cabins for rent that truly are log cabins (vs. mobile homes advertised as cabin rentals), we were thrilled to find the Broken Bow cabins to be exactly as they claim.
