Reality Steve Bachelor Spoilers, Season 14 Final Four and Winner Revealed

Fans of The Bachelor reality television show on ABC are likely familiar with Reality Steve and his blog. Reality Steve, AKA Steve Carbone of Dallas, has revealed the final 4 Bachelor contestants and who Jake Pavelka picks as winner at the final rose ceremony, due to having a very reliable inside source.

There are many Bachelorette and Bachelor blogs, forums and message boards for fans to read recaps, spoilers and speculations about what happens before the show even airs on ABC, but if you really want to know the reality of what has been going on behind the scenes on The Bachelor, you have to read Reality Steve’s blog at realitysteve.com.

I’ve been a fan of a few “reality television” shows over the years, but the recent so-called sex scandal involving Bachelor contestant Rozlyn Papa and former producer Ryan Callahan has created a negative but well-deserved buzz about the show’s integrity and host, Chris Harrison. Rozlyn has said in interviews on National Television that there was no “inappropriate relationship” between her and Callahan whatsoever, no kissing, no sex, nothing “physical” as Chris Harrison has claimed.

Chris Harrison Confirms The Bachelor Shocking Sex Scandal

Not sure if this qualifies as a “Bachelor spoiler” or not, but Bachelor host Chris Harrison has confirmed the ongoing rumor of a sex scandal involving one of the Bachelor contestants and a producer of the show, and Jake Pavelka had nothing to do with it. Ruh Roh! Drumroll please….

As much as some of you Bachelor fans would love to see scandal and sexy mayhem on Season 14 of The Bachelor, such as a sordid lesbian girl/girl kind of scandal, Harrison has confirmed the scandal involved a male producer and one of the contestants.

In the promo leading up to tonight’s premiere of The Bachelor “On The Wings of Love” with sexy hunk Jake Pavelka the pilot, we’re teased with “She’s been having this sexual affair with somebody else in the Bachelor house.”

In a radio interview with Sean Valentine, Chris Harrison called the affair “a barn storm. It was a fire.” Any reality television loving bachelor fan knows it’s a big no-no for contestants and show producers or big-wigs to be um…playing house onscreen or offscreen.

The Bachelor Contestants – Bachelor Season 14 Jake Pavelka On The Wings of Love

The season premiere of The Bachelor “On the Wings of Love” starts on Monday, January 4 (8 p.m. EST on ABC), with Jake Pavelka the pilot as the new bachelor. Fans of sappy romantic television shows like The Bachelor and The Bachelorette are excited to find out if Jake finds true love and who Jake will choose to be Mrs. Pavelka at the final rose ceremony of The Bachelor season 14, of if online dating sites will be his next stop.

News reports quoting 31-year-old Jake Pavelka, the hunky commercial airline pilot from Dallas, say that Season 14 of The Bachelor promises to be “a very rocky and dramatic season”. If recent spoilers of the very popular dating series are true, claiming a “shocking scandal” involving a contestant having a sexual affair with an ABC production crew member of The Bachelor show, host Chris Harrison and ABC big-wigs have yet to confirm or deny the scandalous rumors.

Creating drama and media hype about the premiere of The Bachelor to help stir up excitement and ratings with a sex scandal, ABC began running a brief, on-air promo spot about the cheating female contestant. On the promo, a female contestant is heard on the audio clip saying, “She’s been having an sexual affair with somebody else in the Bachelor House”. To say “it wouldn’t be The Bachelor if it didn’t start with one shocking scandal” is an understatement, and it certainly helps keep up the show’s ratings.

Jason Mesnick is the New Bachelor on ABC’s The Bachelor

Jason Mesnick is the New Bachelor on ABC’s The BachelorABC has finally announced that Jason Mesnick, 32, will star as the next bachelor on the 13th season of The Bachelor, beginning in January 2009. Filming begins next month and hopefully Mesnick will have better luck this time with a brand new crop of contestants after DeAnna Pappas rejected him on last season’s The Bachelorette. Thankfully, ABC listened to the letters and hordes of emails from Jason’s fans who are now getting their wish granted. Jason will get a second chance at finding love on reality television, and hopefully the second time around will be all that is needed.

Here’s what we know about Jason:

  1. Jason is a native of Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Washington at the age of eight and received his BA in psychology at the University of Washington.
  2. He is a single father from Seattle with a 3 yr-old son named Ty.
  3. He divorced two years ago but wants to start another family.
  4. He’s the middle son in a family of three boys and lives with his younger brother, Larry, and with Ty in Washington.
  5. His parents are divorced and both are happily remarried.
  6. Jason is an account executive in estate and legacy planning,
  7. He has traveled all over Europe and continues to pursue his desire to see the world.
  8. He loves a variety of sports, including swimming, golf, basketball and football.
  9. In his spare time, he takes guitar and swing dance lessons.
  10. Jason is a “big brother” for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America. A philanthropist himself, he hopes to some day form and run his own children’s charity.

Jason told reporters in a recent interview that he hasn’t been on a date since Deanna. Is he ready to love again? Not on the rebound? He told People magazine he is looking forward to the opportunity to find love on the 13th season of The Bachelor.

“I am ready,” he says. “I am through it and open to giving these girls everything I can to find the one that is right for me. “All I am missing, really, is someone to share [my life] with,” he adds. “There’s no guarantee but 25 girls? I mean it’s a real opportunity to find just one.”

Mesnick posted a shout out to his friends on his MySpace page:

“An update for all of my new friends. Thank you so much for the continued support — I have some great news! I am not sure if you have heard, I have been selected to be the next Bachelor. I am so excited that words really can not explain. (WAAAHOOOO!) This whole experience has been surreal and it just keeps on going. With that said, at this point I am going to have to step away from my MySpace page. The casting producers will be watching over my page for now. They are an amazing group of people with my best interest in mind; so to all my new friends out there I am sorry I will not be able to reply for now, but if you are interested; the right people have their eye on my page. I am leaving my romance in the hands of the show — I hope to meet you on the upcoming season.”

I can hardly wait to see what happens on The Bachelor, and hopefully Jason and son Ty will have better luck than previous contestants who were engaged but never made it to the altar. Hopefully Jason will find his lady-love once and for all on the new season of The Bachelor. I’ll be watching. Will you?
