Genetically Modified Food Crops vs Organic Foods

Is Industrial Food Dangerous? If there was a story told in which a person had developed rashes along with intensely itchy sores with strange fibers protruding from underneath their skin, what would be the suspected disease or sickness? Is it something new and rare? Is it something curable?

Morgellon’s Disease is the name of this sickness, and while there are only 1,200 people registered to be suffering from this disease, many more people out there are suffering from this same thing and have no idea what it is (Laibow, 2008). This disease is the result of industrialized food that has been genetically modified, or altered, that these people have consumed.

Industrialized foods are a problem because of genetic engineering and pesticides, and can be solved by choosing to consume organic food because of its nutritional value, and the methods that are used to grow it.

Food Face Dinner Plate for Picky Eaters Makes Eating Healthy a Fun Game

The Food Face Dinner Plate makes getting kids to eat healthy foods a fun game to play during dinner, lunch or any meal. Isn’t this a cute plate for kids? From what I’ve heard, Parents Magazine even did a write up on the food face plate as a fun activity, but I haven’t seen that article.

If you have problems getting your kid to try new foods, especially healthy stuff like vegetables, they will have fun eating their dinner on this food face plate. The food face ceramic dinner plate measures 8.5 inches in diameter, a perfect size and fun style if there ever was one, to get your picky eater to at least try different types of foods.

Holistic Nutrition and Natural Nutrition – Best Food Documentaries – Holistic Health and Healing Books

Reading books on health, natural nutrition and nutritional food supplements is a large part of my reading lists program. Many of the holistic nutrition books I’ve read so far have dealt primarily with dentistry: books on mercury in fillings, fluoride and fluoridated water, how the right kind of nutrition has the “side effect” of healing and curing tooth decay, actually reversing decay in teeth throughout the mouth etc.

It goes without saying that preventing tooth decay and oral diseases of the mouth offers the greatest benefits to the population, and greatly reduces the costs of dental office visits and treatments to fix decayed or broken teeth. Holistic medicine and nutrition covers a wide variety of health and healing matters by natural remedies, versus what traditional medicine and the so-called health “authorities” would like us to believe.

As summer approaches, families begin planning vacation trips to the beach and other fun places, and more often than not, making a list of books to read during the hot lazy days of summer. Young kids and teens are out of school and parents do their best to find fun things for their kids to do to keep them busy and entertained throughout the summer break.

Even though my kids are all grown up and on their own now, I still remember the summer reading programs, book clubs and book reading lists handed out by school teachers of all the books kids had to read over the summer. Even adults create their own summer reading lists of a variety of books they wish to read on topics of interest to them, and I’m no different. However, I am rarely ever without a book to read.
