Big Pharma vs Natural Health – Natural Health Remedies vs Drugs R Us

It’s great to have goals. Everyone should have them. Maybe you don’t have one this very minute, but are working that area of self-development. In creating a goal for yourself, however, have you ever set out to be greedy, insensitive to others, deceptive, lying, cheating or manipulating to reach that goal? It would be hard to believe anyone would be like that, isn’t it?

About ten years ago I heard that the drug companies had a goal – seriously – to get every single man, woman and child on some kind of drug for some kind of reason. (Check out the movie trailer linked below – it is “officially” their goal!) Seems they figured out uninformed, naïve and trusting people would rather pop a pill for every little thing than actually deal with it.

Marriage in College

Fourteen percent of women between the ages of 25 and 29 who had been married were divorced. Although this seems like a significantly high rate, it represents a 30 percent drop from just ten years ago. More people are waiting until later in life to get married, contributing to the lower divorce rate.

Some still prefer to marry young, though, and even choose to make the leap at while in college. Doing so may be thought to be rash, or to require at least one parent to put off finishing school or take online classes for college, but in fact couples willing to face the challenge stand chances as good as anyone else of making a lasting marriage.

Water Fluoridation – Fluoride Facts, Toxic Fluoride in Water and Where Fluoride Comes From

When I began researching the controversy surrounding water fluoridation several months ago, and learned where fluoride comes from, I was not at all prepared to discover the real truth about fluoride. To say that I was shocked to learn what fluoride really is and how artificial, man-made (not naturally occurring) fluoride in drinking water, baby foods, infant formulas, baby nursery bottled water, juices, mouthwashes and processed foods is actually a toxic substance, is an enormous understatement.

A more accurate description of my reaction to learning about fluoride’s toxicity, its structure and well-documented harmful effects on the human body over time, is that everything I’ve been taught about fluoride and its claimed benefits as a dental professional, have been turned upside down and inside out.

Dental Care, Dental Emergency Treatment & Taking Care of Your Teeth

Although 72 percent of Americans have fillings, caps or crowns and one in six had a dental emergency during the past 12 months, most are not prepared to deal with dental care emergencies, according to a recent survey conducted by Majestic Drug Company, a leading provider of oral care products.

Interestingly, in the national survey of 1,000 Americans, those with a lower income (less then $35,000) were more likely to have had a dental emergency in the past 12 months (vs. 14 percent of those who make $100,000 or more).

Of those who had a dental emergency, 23 percent involved a loose crown or cap, 10 percent involved a lost filling, while 72 percent said their dental emergency involved something else.

Do Men Want To Get Married? Top Ten Reasons Why Men Don’t Want To Get Married

Do men want to get married, or not? “Do Men Really Want to Get Married” is the question being discussed in a CNN article about whether the stereotypical belief that men are dragged off to the altar to get married kicking and screaming is true or not. CNN reporter, Alex Wallen, claims to have interviewed dozens of men on how they approached marriage, where these men admitted that they had “fantasized about popping the question, getting married, even having a wedding.”

Wallen reports that numerous men reported having a “light-switch” moment when they decided they should get married to their significant other. Examples given include a life-altering event, such as one man who suddenly realized his love for his girlfriend when she helped him deal with the death of his father; or it might be something as simple as having so much fun playing arcade games together that you can’t imagine yourself having this much fun with anyone else. One man decided it was time to get married when he became angry and balled-up his fists when another man made a pass at his then-girlfriend.

“Real men are perceived as committing “till death do us part” for the wrong reasons — they marry out of convenience or under duress, and they acquiesce, kicking and screaming all the way to the altar”, according to the article. If recent statistics are correct, men are choosing to marry later in life, with the average age being 28 before experiencing their “ah ha” moment, which is a good thing. Nevertheless, there are still many young men and women getting married too young, and far too many couples get married for the wrong reasons and end up regretting it later.
